About Dr. Ruth Rosenberg

Dr. Ruth Rosenberg is a Board Certified psychiatrist with additional subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry, who evaluates and treats patients up to sixty five years old. She has expertise in psychiatric evaluation, individual and family therapy, psychopharmacology, and school consultation. She has been practicing child, adolescent and adult psychiatry for over 25 years.

 

Dr. Rosenberg graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She doubled majored in Biological Basis of Behavior and an Individualized Major, entitled, Art and Environmental Design: Their Effect on Human Behavior.

 

Dr. Rosenberg received her M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Rosenberg completed 2 years of Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, prior to her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center (now part of CHOP), and Adult General Psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Rosenberg takes a comprehensive approach to assess, educate, give practical feedback and provide support, in order to help patients effectively address their psychiatric challenges. She integrates her knowledge of evidence-based Psychiatry, Medicine, Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Family Psychotherapies and techniques in order to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. She collaborates well with other physicians, treatment providers and schools. With compassion and understanding, she empowers each individual to help them build on their strengths, accept, overcome, and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
